Pace Gallery presents fifteen iPad paintings from David Hockney's Moon Room series, created during his 2020 pandemic quarantine in Normandy. The works capture the moon's changing phases and nocturnal landscape observations from his twelve-acre farm, rendered with the immediacy and precision the iPad medium enabled. These meditative compositions—produced between April and December 2020—mark the first New York presentation of the series and reflect Hockney's enduring exploration of light, shadow, and nature's transience.
